Going, Going, Gone!
Golf's great online auction at Rounds4Research.com is now closed for 2010. Congratulations to those hundreds of bidders who secured tee-times. Certificates confirming your purchase will mail soon!
We greatly appreciate the interest of every golf lover who visited Rounds4Research.com this year and hope to present an even bigger and better auction in 2011. We look forward to seeing you again!
Many thanks also to the state golf associations, PGA professionals, club managers and turfgrass associations from each of the participating regions -- Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia. This truly was an industry-wide effort on behalf of the game.
And finally, a heartfelt thanks to all those golf course owners and club members who so graciously donated time on their golf course to aid the interests of the golf industry. The success of this effort depends entirely on their willingness to contribute.
This year, almost 900 lots or tee-times sold to benefit golf turfgrass research and promote the interests of the game. That's up from 320 in our first year in 2009. Who knows how far we can go in 2011.
